“Blaming someone else for the mess is an art form in some houses, and Alfie has a whole troop of monkeys for the job. Spotting them mid-mischief is half the fun.”
A troop of naughty monkeys, and only Alfie can see them.
No More Monkeys! is a funny picture book about a little boy, his invisible monkey friends and a whole lot of mischief.
Alfie lives with his family and a whole troop of cheeky monkeys. They cause trouble all over the house, and Mum has had enough. But the mischief carries on, and Alfie has a big decision ahead of him.
Why children love it
- Monkeys swinging from a washing line of socks and underwear, one spraying a garden hose.
- Mum's firm "No more monkeys! And that's final," a line made for joining in.
- Bright pictures full of sneaky details, like a monkey squeezing into a big green bag.
By Joshua George · Illustrated by Barbara Bakos · English
