“Hill-station holidays come with monkeys who’ll snatch anything, so this cap-seller’s troubles will feel very familiar. Pack it for the drive up the ghats, then count the real ones on the way.”
A bag full of caps, and a branch full of cheeky monkeys.
The Cap-Seller and the Monkey is a moral story fun box with a storybook, a puzzle and an activity, about a cap-seller and a tree full of monkeys.
A moustached cap-seller kneels under a shady tree, his blue bag stuffed with colourful caps. Right above his head, a row of monkeys peers down from a branch, all grins. He doesn't seem to have spotted them. What could monkeys possibly want with a bag of caps?
Why children love it
- A branch crowded with grinning monkeys, one of them giving a cheery wave.
- A cap-seller in an orange kurta and brown jacket, with caps in pink, purple and green.
- A countryside scene, with misty green hills rolling away behind the tree.
