“Sprout a few kitchen beans on wet cotton after reading, and your child will check them hourly for giants. The story keeps growing long after the book is shut.”
Up, up the beanstalk, and look who is peeping round it.
Jack and the Beanstalk is a fairy tale fun box that pairs a storybook about a boy and one enormous beanstalk with a puzzle and an activity.
The front shows Jack mid-climb, hanging from a curling vine with clouds drifting below him. Just behind the stalk, a shaggy-haired giant is peering out with a wide, toothy grin. Where does a beanstalk this tall lead?
Why children love it
- Jack in a bright yellow waistcoat, swinging from the beanstalk's curly tendrils.
- A huge green stalk twisting up through the clouds, with leaves and pods along the way.
- Read the tale first, then open up the puzzle and the activity.
