“Squabbling teams, from sports day squads to school group projects, could use this old fable more than any pep talk.”
Straining with all his might to snap one bundle of sticks.
Bundle of Sticks is a moral story fun box about a bundle of sticks and the lesson it holds, with a puzzle and an activity.
On the cover, a man in a pink kurta braces one foot and heaves at a tied bundle of sticks, his face screwed up with effort. An old man with a walking stick sits close by as three other men look on. Why does one bundle matter so much?
Why children love it
- Lively faces all round, from a bristling moustache to a worried young man in green.
- A grinning man in a blue turban rests a hand on a second bundle.
- A puzzle and an activity in the box carry the story on into play.
