“New in town and missing an old friend? Franky is too, and his jokey letters to Dani make a funny, warm companion for any child facing a move.”
A freaky storm, and the kids on Franky's street start changing.
The Danger Gang is a funny illustrated adventure novel about a street of kids turning a little magical.
Franky has moved to a new town and misses his best friend, Dani. A storm brings strange green lightning, and one by one the kids on his street begin to change. Franky dreams of a gang like his super-spy hero Zack Danger's, so at first it is thrilling. But soon real danger seems to be heading their way.
Why children love it
- Franky tells the story in letters to Dani, like secret news from a best friend.
- Big hand-lettered words crash through the text, from "DING!" to "BAD IDEA!"
- Laugh-out-loud moments, like Mum's Weather Ray 3000 and some very slushy-wet trousers.
