Letters to Ammi is a photographic picture book about a girl who writes to her mother as she explores Delhi.
Fatima comes to Delhi, her mother's first home, where her aunt and uncle show her around. At each place she writes to Ammi and imagines her mother there before her. Letter by letter, a little more of her parents' story comes to light.
