“Your resident dinosaur expert knows everything about Velociraptors, except why they never sat on plug adaptors. Frog’s daft logic is funny enough for grown-ups too, a mercy on the umpteenth reread.”
Frog says dinosaurs never sat down. Dog has a few questions.
Oi Dinosaurs! is a silly rhyming picture book about what dinosaurs did, or didn't, sit on.
According to Frog, sitting down hadn't been invented back in dinosaur times. So did Pterosaurs perch on bendy straws? Did Velociraptors sit on plug adaptors? Frog, Cat and Dog fill the pages with prehistoric rhyming fun, starring dinosaurs, mammoths and even prehistoric frogs.
Why children love it
- Daft, tongue-twisting rhymes, like Triceratopses that never sat on "lollipopses".
- Frog shines a torch on cave paintings to explain those enormous dinosaur bottoms.
- Dog's giant bone spread, where he begs everyone to "think about the bones!"
