Little Explorers: Goodnight Farm

Tiptoe past snoozing sheep and roosting hens as the stars come out.

Goodnight Farm is a peep-through bedtime board book about how farm animals settle down to sleep at night.

Night is falling, and it's time to say goodnight to every sleepy animal. Little ones wander from the barn to the fields and the stables, meeting cows, sheep, horses, hens and a sheepdog. Gentle rhyming text sits alongside simple facts, and peep-through cut-outs lead from one scene to the next.

Why children love it

• Fun facts in small words, like "Chickens sleep through the night, like us!"
• A new farm word, roosting, which means sleeping when you're a hen.
• Cosy night scenes to explore, from curled-up sheep to a family of mice tucked in the grass.
