Koel Wants a Nest is a gentle picture book about a koel searching for a place to lay her egg.
Koel is almost ready to lay her egg. First she needs a safe spot, away from stamping feet, windy branches and steep ledges. So she visits bird after bird, from Hornbill to Peahen, to see their homes. But why did Koel never learn to build a nest?
