“Good friends might laugh when bugs get stuck in your fur, but they also turn up with a comb. A comforting one for the day a playground giggle stings.”
Braids, hair gel or something else? Luna's coat needs a plan.
Hairy Tales of Luna the Dog is a funny board book story about a dog whose beautiful long coat is very tricky to look after.
Luna has a gorgeous coat of long, soft hair, but such beauty comes at a cost. One day, while she plays with her friends, flying insects get stuck in it, and everyone laughs as she struggles to free them. So her friends start coming up with ideas to tame all that hair.
Why children love it
- A comb-carrying cat, a puppy and a squirrel all join the big braiding effort.
- Sunny meadow pictures buzzing with a butterfly, a ladybug and darting dragonflies.
- Swishy, twisty rainbow ribbons that crown Luna's head on every spread.
