“Switch off the big light before you begin: a glowing dinosaur tummy is more fun in the dark. Even a child who fights bedtime will want to be the one pressing it.”
A greedy dinosaur swallows a firefly. Now his tummy glows!
Glow-a-Saurus is a rhyming light-up board book about a dinosaur with a firefly in his tummy.
Glow-a-Saurus loves chasing flies, and he has been greedy and unkind. Then he swallows Flo the firefly, and to his surprise, his tummy starts to shimmer. Little ones press the glowing golden light to make it flash, as Glow and Flo work out what to do next.
Why children love it
- A golden light in Glow's tummy that shines through cut-out holes as the pages turn.
- Bouncy rhymes about Flo, the firefly who "brightly glowed and shined".
- Bright night-time jungle scenes, full of buzzing fireflies, stars and swirling leaves.

Quick answers
How does the light work? Children press the golden light, whether it sits in Glow's tummy or under Flo, and watch it "shine and sparkle bright".
Does it rhyme? Yes. The story rhymes, and a line that repeats invites little ones to press the light and join in.
