Our books are curated for children, but purchasing is limited to individuals who are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. We are not liable for any false representations regarding age or consent. Parents or guardians are encouraged to supervise their children’s activity on the Site. By placing an order, you affirm that you satisfy this requirement.
3. Account Registration & Security
You may browse without an account; however, certain features require registration. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account suspected of misuse, fraud, or breach of security protocols.
4. Products, Pricing & Availability
All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and do not include taxes or shipping charges, which are calculated at checkout. We strive to display accurate stock levels, but availability is not guaranteed until we confirm your order. We reserve the right to limit quantities or refuse orders at our sole discretion.
5. Ordering Process
An order is an offer to purchase. After checkout, you will receive an automated acknowledgement. A binding contract arises only when we dispatch the items and email you a shipping confirmation.
6. Payment Information
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate payment information and authorise Brain Chapters (or its appointed payment processor) to charge your selected method for the total amount shown at checkout. If your payment is declined, reversed, or otherwise fails, we may suspend or cancel the order until the charge is successfully processed.
Our payment system is powered by Razorpay’s secure gateway, supporting a range of options including UPI, RuPay, Visa, Mastercard, internet banking, and widely used mobile wallets. All transactions are encrypted with 128-bit SSL. Please note, we currently do not offer cash-on-delivery.
If we discover an error in the price or description of a product you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible. You may then reconfirm your order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at an incorrect price, whether or not the order has been confirmed or payment processed.
We may choose to accept, decline, or limit any order for any reason. Limits on how many items you can order might apply if orders come from the same account, payment method, or address. If we need to change or cancel your order, we’ll try to let you know using the contact details you provided. We also reserve the right to block orders that seem to come from distributors, resellers or dealers.

7. Shipping & Delivery
We currently ship Pan‑India from Chennai via reputable couriers. Once your order is dispatched, we generate a tracking ID—visible under My Account → Orders and sent to you by email—so you can follow the shipment’s progress in real time. Delays due to force‑majeure events or logistics partners are outside our control.

8. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
Our detailed Returns & Return Policy (available here and incorporated by reference) governs transit‑damage or wrong‑item claims.
Damage/defect claims must reach us at info@brainchapters.com within 48 hours of delivery (include un-boxing video). Change‑of‑mind returns are not accepted. Refunds, when approved, are processed to your original payment method.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website—including but not limited to text, images, graphics, product photographs, logos, icons, videos, audio clips, downloadable files, and software—is either owned by Brain Chapters or used with appropriate permission from content suppliers, licensors, and other partners. While we may not hold full ownership rights over all third-party materials displayed on the site, we take care to ensure that such content is used lawfully and with proper authorisation.
Any misuse of our brand name, visual identity, or associated materials that may cause confusion or falsely represent an association with Brain Chapters is strictly prohibited.

The arbitrator’s award shall be final, binding, and enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction.
18. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable to the other party for failure or delay in the performance of any of its obligations to the extent such failure or delay is caused by riots, civil commotions, wars, strikes, hostilities between nations, governmental laws, orders or regulations, embargoes, actions by a government or any agency thereof, acts of God, storms, fires, accidents, sabotages, explosions or any other conditions beyond the reasonable control of the respective parties (“Force Majeure Event”). In such events, the performance of obligations hereunder shall be suspended.
