Returns Policy

At Brain Chapters, we carefully curate, inspect, and pack every book. If a parcel still arrives in less-than-perfect shape, here is how we put things right, step by step.


1. When can you return or exchange?

  • Eligible: you received a different title, edition, or quantity from what you ordered.
  • Not eligible: change-of-mind, dislike of content, minor printer’s marks, colour variation, or wear that occurs after you unpack the book.
  • Sale/clearance titles: final sale; no return or refund.

  • For any reason other than above, the product(s) will be sent back to us in the original condition as received, our team will inspect it upon receipt and notify the refund status via email.

2 Proof we need

  • Shoot a continuous unboxing video beginning before you cut open the outer parcel.

  • Make sure the video shows all sides of the packaging and the moment you reveal the damage.


3. How to raise a claim

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery by email or WhatsApp (details below).

  • Attach the unboxing video, your order ID, and a brief description of the problem.

  • To ensure a smooth process, kindly submit your request within 48 hours along with video evidence. Requests received after this period or without a video may not be accepted for refund. We will respond within 48 hours of receiving your return request.


4. What happens next

  • Return label or courier pick-up: Kindly send the products back in the original condition as received with a reputed courier partner. Our team will inspect them upon receipt, and the following will be processed.

  • Exchange: if a fresh copy is in stock, we dispatch it within 48 hours of receiving the returned book, and send you new tracking details.

  • Out-of-stock: if a replacement isn’t available, you may choose either

    • a full refund to your original payment method, or

    • a store credit of equal value.


5. Refund timeline & method

  • We issue refunds within 2–7 business days after the returned product(s) are inspected and approved.

  • Funds go back to the original payment source; card issuers can take an extra 5–10 days to display the credit.

  • The refund covers 100% of the product(s) price plus your return shipping fee.


6 Situations not covered

  • The address or phone number, entered incorrectly at checkout.

  • Parcels refused or unclaimed from the courier.

  • Product(s) returned used, marked, or without original packaging.

  • Damage reported after seven calendar days from delivery.
